Hello friends! As we prepare for the start of school, I was thinking of ways to make it more fun for kids to wear their masks. I created a free poem for kindergarten, first grade, and pre-k! It’s difficult for anyone to wear their masks for such a long time, but especially for kindergarteners or pre-k! I came up with this fun little song that I am making free for you! It is to the tune of “The Adam’s Family.” The poem is color and black and white, and also includes a version where the students write in the sight word “we.” It would be great for a poetry notebook! You could also sing this song while lining up, or washing hands, or putting on your masks before going inside the building. Hopefully the kids love singing this song, and it will help them to have more fun while wearing their masks. Click the image below to grab your free copy!
I love fun activities for kindergarten, especially when they are free! This would also be great for first grade and pre-k! Really, any primary grades that are wearing masks. If you are going back to school in person this year, this one is for you! Check back soon for more free kindergarten activities. I hope you enjoy your free kindergarten poem! I would love to hear from you about how you’re using this in your classroom. Leave a comment below! Tag me on instagram so I can see how you use it with your kiddos!
