About Down in Kinderville
Down in Kinderville is a store created by Nicole, a teacher for 16+ years. Down in Kinderville specializes in kindergarten resources as well as resources for pre-k, first grade, and second grade. These resources are great for teachers, tutoring, homeschool, and parents looking for extra practice!
It All Started When…
I was looking for a piece to complete my calendar for my incoming kindergarten class in August 2019. I created that calendar piece myself, and was hooked! That August, when I should have been enjoying my last few weeks of summer, I dedicated myself to selling on TPT. I barely slept during those first few weeks! Since then, I have grown so much as an educator, creator, and businesswoman (I’ll take the businesswoman special! 😉).
Why I Do What I Do
I was always the “type B” teacher. Classroom in chaos, but doing something creative and engaging with my kids. At the end of the day, my teacher’s table would be covered in piles (I know, cringe for you Type-A-ers!). But my strength as a teacher has always been and remains my creativity. I have loved creating things since I was in kindergarten! Here’s a flashback of my first day of kindergarten. I was able to channel that creativity to start creating resources for other teachers and parents. I truly love creating resources, and I love hearing great feedback even more.
