Free Valentine Game for Kindergarten!

free valentine game

Hi teacher friends! I am here to share a game that my students LOVE! I call it “Who Has It?” This version is a FREE number sense Valentine game that is great for kindergarten, pre-k, and first grade! I like to play this during morning meeting, or as a number sense routine! This game is great for playing in February! It includes numbers 0-20.

How to Play?

This FREE Valentine game is minimal prep and so easy to play with your kindergarteners, pre-kers, and first graders! Display the digital questions on your classroom smartboard or projector and give each student a card with Valentine candies. Students will walk around trading cards while the music plays. When the music stops, students FREEZE! The teacher will then display and ask the question (ex: Who has the number 12?). Students will count the candies on their card, and the student with the correct number of candies wins! This game includes numbers 0-20, and can be played with up to 31 students.

If you and your students enjoy this as much as my class does, I have a growing bundle with other themes and skills! Other skills that are great for this game are beginning sounds, cvc words, addition, and more! I just made a Valentine CVC set that is so cute! I am super excited to play both Valentine versions with my kindergarten students! You can check out the Valentine CVC game along with the growing bundle, by clicking the image below!
